About the Area
Springdale is one of the largest and most diverse cities in Northwest Arkansas. With almost 80,000 residents it boasts more than 40 languages spoken in Springdale Public Schools, the second-largest school district in the state. It is also home to Tyson Foods, the new Arkansas Children’s Hospital Springdale, and the Arkansas Naturals minor league baseball team. Downtown, you will find the Shiloh Museum, which offers Ozark history and buildings dating back to the 1850s. Springdale claims pride in its wonderful water sports destinations, including nearby Beaver Lake and numerous rivers popular with canoeists, including the Mulberry, Kings and Buffalo.
